      The syntax coloring just switches to the new file format. This is how it should be. you can change the way that edit plus interperates the file, but choosing

        The syntax coloring just switches to the new file format. This is how it
        should be. you can change the way that edit plus interperates the file, but
        choosing Document->Change File Type... In there, you will be able to tell
        edit plus what type of file it is (reguardless of the file extension).
