      Personal preference workaround:

      I usually use inline comments e.g. // in Java/C, ' in VB, % in Prolog,
      etc. for commenting the code. That makes it much easier when I need to
      block comment out sections for debugging. Pretty much dodges the whole
      nested comments deal.
