      I made of backup of EditPlus on CD once and I when I restored it, (eg. by copying it from the CD back to the directory), a the files were read-only and I couldn't save any new settings until I removed the read-only attribute. You might want to check for this. Just a thought.

      Also, 2.11 SR-1 is now out so an upgrade is recommended anyway.

      I'm on Win 2k, and use EditPlus 2.11. I have no problem with this
      option. Perhaps you should upgrade EditPlus ?
