Re: Visual Studio 2005, C++ 8 rebuild
- Hello Steve
Just like walt <WSCHWARZ@> I am surprised by your move.
I usually program with PB-CC and WIN ( I am not saying here to use PB)
but what the other PB users have found with any WINDOWS product.
Any new or upgrade WINDOWS products = 1000's of bugs which rarely get
fixed but get plenty of cosmetic fix by MS.
When I saw (dot net) and played with it a bit , I said
"Oh, Oh my G.. !!! this is a nest of bugs coming up my way again with
" + need 5 "tip" trucks to get all the knowledge from .net"
" I shelved .net and buried it for good before it got hold of me"
I hope .net will not distract you and swamp you from developing your
excellent easyNNplus algorithms?
Anyway you are doing a fantastic job.
All the best for 2006.

I'm not using DOT NET. The reason I am switching to VS2005 is to move
my code to VC++ 8. Getting rid of the old non standard functions is
not as tricky as I first thought it would be.
