We have had a very good month and have completed several projects including a dehydrator, trails to the river and a swimming hole, repaired the solar shower, started a mushroom garden with over 1,000 plugs of shitake and oyster mushrooms, replaced the green house cover that got torn in October. The February crew also cleared several acre's of field for future tree reforestation and planted many new veggies. The beginning March crew is here With Tiana 24 from L.A. California and Kimberly 27 from Troy NY both with lots of experience to share. There also will be a couple from England that have been traveling all over Central America woofing that will be here on March 13Th. Darien 23 & Sarah 24 from Tallahassee, Florida Darien has experienced with Peru Indigenous people. We have had an incredible response from these and several more young, strong, highly motivated women that want to help out in April through August. Gregory 24, from Utah will come from April to the end of May, had great references for his dedication to helping out others and wanting to learn from the land. Our farm is in great shape and we are looking forward to the future and our 5Th anniversary on April 1, 2010.
