  • Some time ago I reported a problem running Band Master under Windows 7 64-bit. Today I tried it again and am pleased to report that the problem has gone away. The program no longer crashes on startup. It runs fine! I'm guessing that Microsoft Update corrected some underlying OS bug that was causing the crash. If you had a similar problem, try applying the updates from Microsoft and...

  • I'm running w7 x64 with the latest Microsoft and Firefox updates. No problem with CW Skimmer here. Perhaps the problem is only with 32-bit Windows and Firefox? • Hi Roberto, I have had the PowerSDR VAC connection working with Faros for a long time with no problems. The trick seems to be setting the audio IF to -9600. This is because the I/Q signals coming from PowerSDR are reversed from what Faros expects. Also be sure PowerSDR is in CWU mode, with SR off, a narrow filter and a CW offset of 600. Hope this helps. 73 Ed W2RF From: dxatlas...

  • Burton, It appears that the OmniRig config file for your radio does not support all features. That would explain why some of the functions don't work in BandMaster, but do in other XMLog and SD Logger. With your current configuration, when you select your Icom rig in the OmniRig section of the RigSync options, what appears in the RigSync frequency display? Does it follow the radio...

  • Burton, Thanks for the detailed message. The setting shown in the quickstart for Skimmer on the Options panel is not in use and not necessary. It is unfortunate that it is shown with a previous beta version that had the box enabled, even though it did nothing. This setting is reserved for a future version of RigSync. You do need to select your ICOM in the OmniRig part of the panel...

  • Hi Burton, I've had a number of reported problems with RigSync and Icom rigs. Unfortunately I don't have access to one. If I can get a very precise description of the problem I might be able to figure it out. 73 Ed W2RF From: dxatlas_group@^$1 [mailto:dxatlas_group@^$2] On Behalf Of wb6cyk Sent: Monday, November 09, 2009 1:43 PM To: dxatlas_group@^$3 Subject: [dxatlas] RE: Using IC...
