Good day, I use nautical twilight, solar elevation -12 degrees. The dark side of which is a reasonable approximation to when F layer illumination is lost.

      Good day,

I use nautical twilight, solar elevation -12 degrees. The dark side
of which is a reasonable approximation to when "F" layer illumination
is lost. Or so I am advised.

      Regards,
