Subject: [dutchovencooking] Can I bake a dump cake in a 10" oven?

Today I posted a message to ask Angela about her success with a dump
cake in a 10" oven as some time back she was wanting to try it.

Just in case she doesn't get back to me in the next few days, I'll go
ahead and ask you folks if it can be done.

I'd like to do a dump cake at our ODOE DOG next Saturday but only
      have a 12" and a 10" oven I'll be using. The 12" will have a main
      entree in it.

Maybe I could use my Lodge combo cooker for the cake?

      Thanks!

      Hal

      HI All,

      Need some quick info!

The standard dump cake recipe of:

      2 cans of peaches

      1 box yellow cake mix

      2 sticks of butter

Which is cooked in a 12" DO.

Does it work in a 10" DO without any modification?????

Trying to cook for 125 people this weekend up at a Girl Scout camp
      and use
      all of their available resources.

      Thanks,

      Angela
