Thank you so much for all of the wonderful compliments! After your email I feel much more confident that I could actually pull something like that off.
I was actually able to finally a DOG, that wasn't tied to my job this weekend. My husband and I made Dutch Oven Lasagna for the first time, along with the Beer Bread that I am becoming known for and we had a great day doing it. While we were sitting around eating I noticed that all of the other cooks had been in my classes and one of them said it must make me feel good to see those I have taught using what they have learned so well. I did feel really grand at that moment.
I hope that anyone of you who are in town during one of my activities is able to stop by if only for a moment. And thanks again for that vote of confidence, it means a lot.

Altho' we've never met, I (and I'm sure others) have always been
really impressed with your Dutch Oven doings that you've told us
about, as seen through your photos & scheduled events that you've
posted over the years. And it seems like you possibly may have access
to some nice camping land to hold a DOG, working for the State Parks.
There was a reason for mentioning your name :-)
Granted, 2009 is far away, and we have yet to pull off the 2007 DOG
this year! Doing a National DOG is probably similar to any other DOG,
only the invite list is a bit bigger :-) And of course, no one
expects the responsibility of planning for a DOG to be done in a
vacuum or by yourself, I'm sure there are folks who are willing to
volunteer if one only asks. So please do keep it mind. Maybe one of
these days we can make it to one of your dutch oven doings in the
meantime, keep us posted!

one, but then the WIldlife Department here changed it's Wildlife Expo
days to that very same weekend. I would really like to go to AZ since
I have never even been through there before. I will keep my mind open
to it though.
