- Lorri and I have decided that we've not got time to go ahead with the
plan for Tunisia, so I could take on the convention show again - what do
you all reckon? As far as I can tell no one has volunteered to do it,
but I don't want to step on any toes.

- Mike you are STAR!! I don't think anyone's toes will be stepped on. Other
than the Young Juggler of the year I don't think anyone else has been
booked. Same conditions as last year? A budget with a contingency fund?
Thank you for volunteering
- on a related note.
I now own a 1kw sound system (about the same size as the one in the theatre
at the school.)
twin cd player. 1.4kw amp. etc etc.
all in all a nice setup.
i have noticed over the years that the main tech problems on the show have
been either because of battery powered tech, or because of problems with
vaious imputs (the school setup does not have a cd player for eg and we have
used many options from walkmans to laptops)
the school system also has a noticable buzz at low frequencies (not sure if
other people ahve noticed this)
the system is available for use during the convention for anything you wish.
its more than man enough to provide sound in the community centre. and
during the show i would far prefer to use it over the school sound system.
(its my own, i know it backwards, and i know it works)
