      I think it was 1957. The first movie was the Todd-AO version of
      "South Pacific" which ran for 14 weeks. Then the "Magnificent 7".

      The Capitol was the first cinema to open on a Sunday. The cinemas in
      Dundee took it in turn and could open about once every 4 weeks I
      think. That would be about 1958.

      South Pacific was the other one I was trying to remember as I typed that email!
      I'm sure I still have the souvenir programme for it somewhere amongst my Dad's stuff. Mind you, he kept that much stuff that I may be thinking of yet another film.
