- I would highly recommend the Sadlier Sacramental program. The classroom
catechesis book fits nicely with both the Reconciliation and Eucharist Books
that the parents work with at home.
They are in complete conformity with the Catecvhism of the Catholic Church.

My new pastor has told me that we are no longer allowed to use the
Sacramental Preparation program that we had been sending home with our
parents because it isn't on the Bishop's approved list. We could switch
book the kids are using in the classroom to an approved text and still
the other book home with the families but I am afraid that might be a
choice. I really hate to take back the family piece, but if we send
a book that the family uses and the kids are doing something totally
different in the classroom it might get really confusing.
Do any of you have a recommendation for a program that you send home
your parents that is approved by the Bishops that parents will actually

Any recommendations would be helpful at this point. First Communion
until May so we have some time yet.
