Group Description

The Directors of Volunteer Administration (DOVA) is an association of volunteer resources professionals who recruit and work with volunteers at nonprofit organizations in Greater Boston. DOVA fosters professional development by offering programs about volunteer management, recruitment, marketing, and screening, as well as opportunities to share/gain experiences, ideas, best practices, and professional skills.


DOVA enhances the effectiveness and professionalism of its members; supports and advances voluntary human resources to carry out charities' missions and/or to achieve their goals; and provides its members with opportunities to share experiences, ideas, and skills with colleagues.
