I just uploaded a collection of SUF files that might be hand for you spaceship makers out there.

I went and took all the parts I had that had blue glass and I mapped them to a new attribute called GoldGlass for that NASA astronaut visor look.  To use the parts, un-zip the folder to your dogacga\data folder.  From there, you can use Add Part from File in the Parts Assembler to add them to your model.  Sorry, the collection is too big to use as a regular library file.

Now there is a trick here.  If you stop now, all the glass will render as black.  You might like that for a more sinister look, but to make it gold smooth and shiny, you need to either edit or replace the common\atr\genie.atr file with the one that is in the zip file.

An ATR file is just another config file that the ObjConv and DoGA uses for determining color and some other properties.  You can hand edit it, if you're already a pro at that.  Just look for FlatBlack and GoldGlass.  Or, you can copy the file over if you have not tweaked  genie.atr in the past.

Question?  Please feel free to ask.
