      Starting off the calculations from a Vexta 0.36 Degree stepper with 1000 steps per revolution and a NSK KR2001 with a 1mm per revolution we get 1 micron per step.
      If they couple it with a micro stepping driver 10X then - "theoretically" it is 0.1 micron.
      Again as it has been mentioned it is the mechanical resolution. The beam width is actually larger.
