        Symantic (Norton) also offer a free security check at:

        Near the bottom of the home page you will find:

        Symantec Security Check for Home Users

        Click on this and on the next page you will find at the top of the
        page:

        Scan for Security Risks

        which you can run. It will only do a complete test if you are running
        IE V5.0 or newer. It does not find all anti virus programs as that
        part of the check. ie it does not check for Grisoft AVG.
