      | | At sunset November 4th through to sunrise November 11th, this site
      | | will present a vigil commemorating the 68,000 Canadians who lost
      | | their lives in WWI. The names of the 68,000 war dead will be
      | | projected over a week of nights onto the National War Memorial in
      | | Ottawa, buildings in other regions of Canada and onto the side of
      | | Canada House in Trafalgar Square in London, England.
      | |
      | | From what I make of the information on the site
      | |
      | | http://www.1914-1918.ca/vigil.aspx
      | |
      | | Starting on Nov 4th at 5 pm Ottawa time the names will be projected
      | | on the Canadian War Memorial in Ottawa. Check your time zone to link
      | | in at the correct time in your area. It is supposed to be streamed
      | | live for 13 hours each day.
      | |
      | | You can search for an individual who died and find out when their
      | | name will be projected. Some Canadian Provinces will also show the
      | | projections on buildings.
