      Dear Ian:

A very big thank you to the Alberta Genealogical Society, Edmonton Branch

The work of the Alberta Genealogical Society, Edmonton Branch, indexing
all of the NWT Districts which became the provinces of Alberta and
Saskatchewan in 1905 has previously been published in five hard copy
      volumes.

All of these (140,000 lines) are now available on the Edmonton Branch
web site with linkages to the scanned original records.

AFHS and others may wish to create a link to this data at:

        Ian

You probably already know this but the Edmonton Journal is now only
        holding obituaries for 30 days.

As per this email I received.

        Mr Boynton,

The obituaries have been changed, and are now being provided through a
third-party website. This provider maintains up to the past 30 days of
obituaries from the Edmonton Journal on their site. Obituaries beyond
October 15 are no longer accessible through the Edmonton Journal.

We regret any inconvenience these changes have caused.
