      The next meeting of the GCG/CompSig will take place on Saturday 11th October
      in the lounge of the Church of LDS at 19A Street and 17th Avenue SW. Use the
      south entrancefor easy access to the lounge.
      The Beginners Q & A Session will begin at 9.30 am. Anyone who is nervous
      about asking a question in front of the group can send the question in
      advance to ar109@...
      The Main Session will be a demonstration and comparison of four
      genealogical software programs: Brother's Keeper, The Master Genealogist,
      Legacy, and Family Tree Maker.
      Should be an interesting session. Hope to see you there.

        9.30 am Beginners Question and Answer Session.
        10.30 am Gordon Lane, our multi-talented AFHS vice-chairman, will present
        a talk entitled "Digital Capture". The talk will include information on
        scanning documents and other things, and a brief section on 'pdf' .
