She is a graduate of Lord Beaverbrook High School and has worked for the Herald for 20 years. She is married and has three children and three (and maybe four!) grandchildren. At the Herald Norma has helped numerous people over the years to fill in gaps or even vital information in their genealogical research.Main Meeting: 7:15pm

Harry Sanders will speak about famous people in Alberta whose names have become place names in this province.
Harry has worked at the Calgary Public Library, the City of Calgary Archives and the Glenbow Archives. Since 1995 Harry has been a self-employed historical consultant, contract researcher and freelance writer. He has appeared frequently on CBC Radio, and has contributed periodically to Avenue magazine. He is the author of Watermarks: One Hundred Years of Calgary Waterworks (2000), Calgary's Historic Union Cemetery: A Walking Guide (2002) and The Story Behind Alberta Names: How Cities, Towns, Villages and Hamlets Got Their Names.
