      Hello Disney Modelers,
Happy Halloween to all and for those of you who have followed my Disney
Models saga, here are the latest scary details. When I first began
to tackle this project, I was told that Disney is very difficult and it
is a long process to obtain a license. However, no one told me how
emotional it would be and that has truly been the worst part. It has
been like running through an obstacle course with your eyes closed. You
feel great after you clear one obstacle but start worrying and thinking
about what's next, which is always harder than the last and you keep
hoping the end of the course is near! As I left off last time Disney
Consumer Products was suppose to get back with us in July with next
steps and park approval for the models. However, August, September and
most of October came and went and no contact, we called them no return
calls. We were thinking, it's over they have changed their minds, the
parks said no. It was totally depressing and I was convinced that
"wishing upon a star",is a bunch of crap, doesn't work no matter who you
are and your dreams never come true! Then last week, we heard from
Disney! They confirmed they were still interested and the Disney Models
were a go, But? Another hurdle was thrown at us and that was we need
to contact and start working with another Disney office. It turns out
this is a good thing, we are now working with the Disney Consumer
Products office in Munich, Germany! This is a very good thing for us as
this is the final step since the manufacturer is in Germany and part of
the European Union the deal and contracts will be finsihed here. So this
is good news as the Germans are efficent and straight forward. We
should have a done deal soon and finnaly have a happy ending to this
long story. Again, thanks for your support and keep your fingers
crossed and don't forget to Wish Upon A Star as dreams do come true.....

          market!!

I'd also love to hear which models you may think of adding in the
future as well!! Maybe Cinderella's castle? Maybe a roller coaster
like Matterhorn, or Big Thunder Railroad...who knows!! All I know is
that what ever models you add in the future will more than likely be
          purchased by me!

          Keep up the great work!

I've been thinking some about these new Disney models that you are
working on. I really think that these are a great idea. Not only
will it appeal to HO scale modelers, but it will also appeal to many
theme park goers. Guests at the Disney parks will surely see these
models on display at the parks(hopefully prebuilt display units), and
many will purchase them. This could possible start a wave of new
model builders. People will start collecting your whole set, and
making their own little Disney parks. I really think that these
products have a huge marketablilty. Not only with the Disney fans,
and not only with HO railroad builders, but also with the HO scale
Amusement park hobbiests. And as I said, I really think that this
could spur new modellers out there. Congrats on your future sucess!!
