Just wanted to give those interested an update on the Faller Disney
Models. We had a very important meeting with Disney Consumer Products
on Monday, June 25th. This was the big meeting and let me tell you,
I was nervous as this meeting could have kill the entire project.

Well I am happy to report that the meeting went great and DCP gave us
a tentative green light. The only last remaining hurdle is the parks
themselves. Apparently the parks have a say in products that represent
them. So DCP will contact all the park heads and try to get this
approval. We will have an answer mid July. If that answer is yes,
the project will get a green light and the models will be produced and
be available in late Spring 2008.

One note that I thought was interesting is that imagineering will be
our major contact and will help with blueprints and technical details.
DCP said that John Lassiter would have a personal interest in this
project which I think is very exciting.

I also wanted to thank all of you who responded to my first post on
this subject as I used many of your comments in our presentation.

So keep your fingers crossed and I will give you an update in mid July
on the outcome of the park approvals.

I put a post in the picture section to show the product box designs,
would love to get your comments on these.

Thanks again for all your support.

            Hello Ben!

Thanks for the update. The news sounds to good to be true :-)

I'm so glad that Disney Consumer Products gave you green light to
produce the Faller model kits. To be honest I never thought that this
would become a reality because both american Disney theme park
resorts already have the great Olszewski park collection. It's a
            pleasant surprise for me :-))

Let's hope that the heads of the parks will be interested too and
allow you to go into production. Can't wait until mid July to get
            more information about the project.

Wow you have John Lasseter on your side and can work with the
original blueprints of the Walt Disney Imagineering department.
That's great! This means that the models will be exact replicas with
            all the fancy details. Awesome!

By the way I like the style of the product boxes. The Mickey Mouse
head silhouette which includes an attraction photo looks typical
            Disney ;-)

            Bye
            Denis
