I've noticed a huge price spike in the last year for
formerly-easy-to-find artifacts on eBay. I don't know why it is, but
I've discussed it with a lot of folks who have observed a similar trend.
Possibly it's a lot of "newbie" fans who are starting to get into the
history, and don't know what things are really worth? And there are a
lot of shady folks willing to take advantage of them by putting things
up with outlandish minimum bids and paragraphs of text about how rare
      and one-of-a-kind things are.

I keep hoping for people to just start making high-quality scans of
their blueprints and sharing them at a central place online. It'd
deflate the overspeculation on eBay, and allow people interested in such
knowledge to expand their collection of info without breaking the bank.
There are TONS of prints I'm interested in, but certainly can't afford
      to track down originals.

They must be crazy to even put that amount on there for copies and a total rip off. Give it about a year I bet you anything someone else will come along and sell them cheaper or the whole set for that amount. As for the Toon Town set that has been up for like 2000.00 its about the same exact set that was sold on eBay about 6 or 7 years ago except they where copies. The one that is on eBay now is the originals, and they do have a couple more elevation plans of the Downtown buildings. As far as the lay out for Roger Rabbit, no it is not in that set. It would have been nice to see though.

I don't know if it has the interior of the roger rabbit ride. They want $25,000. They have been putting it up for sale every few months since 2007 and they've never changed the price. I saw another set for sale once and it was 1,000-1,200 and I'd almost consider paying that but I have no idea how to tell someone their treasure is worth 1/20th of what they want.

I've bought from the seller before and they were pretty good quality but a bit on the high side (40.00 per page) Most of my collection has been 10.00 per page. Anyways she's got a set of drawings for the FL version of POTC, interior plans, elevations and details. She's asking $70-$90 a sheet. Of course you could buy the whole set for just under a thousand bucks. Now I'm a disney geek but that's just crazy.

I'll probably buy a sheet or two even if nobody else is interested just because I'd like some interior elevations to fill out my collection (especially of the queue area).
