      FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
      March 20, 2002

Being Compassionate in the New Year! CompassionFest is a festival
      designed to teach
compassion to future generations. Two events will debut on August 11,
2002 one at Sawyer Point in Cincinnati, Ohio and one in Las Vegas,
Nevada. The animal rights festivals will last from10:00am until
4:00pm. They are designed and implemented by youth throughout the
country. CompassionFest is the brainchild of Ryan Courtade who is a
fifteen-year-old student from Fort Thomas, Kentucky.

Ryan Courtade has been a shining example of compassionate activism
      for the past seven
years. He has led many campaigns aimed at the corporate abuse of
animals by developing an accessible and far-reaching network of like
minds and hearts. Ryan's desire is that the youth of Cincinnati will
be involved in CompassionFest. He hopes that this event will make a
difference in the hearts and minds of the youth. CompassionFest is co-
sponsored by Love All Animals and In Defense of Animals. Courtade is
the president of Love All Animals. The purpose of CompassionFest is
to allow youth to learn about compassion in a festive environment.
