New Psych/Ethnic/Romance Novel Blurs the Boundaries Between
      Reality...and Fantasy, Religion…and Politics, Peace…and Corporate
      Games.

The Music of the Straits (Life as a Cuban Movie), a first novel by
      Cuban-American author Raul E. Jimenez.

Gabriel Medina spends his days in America dreaming of his native
Cuba, of warm beaches, his boyhood friends, and his high school
sweetheart, the lovely and serene Isabel Montesinos. After decades in
pursuit of the American Dream, and after an encounter with Ernest
Hemingway's ghost, he decides to swim the 95 miles home to find the
sea-maiden who promised him eternal bliss, and return to his
homeland, recapture his youth, and overthrow the Ariel Kastrado
regime. In the process, in a limbo-like place, he learns the meaning
      of life.
