      I am not able to get the TX to work in EasyPal. Works fine MMSSTV. RX works fine but when I go to transmit the PTT puts radio on TX OK but no power Out and no Audio heard on TX monitor. I switched the Sound Card Output from Codec to computer speaker and I could hear the audio on them. Also No Audio is heard or NO Power OUT when in Tune or ID is pressed. It appears as if Data is not routed correctly in software.

      Current TS590 setup is:
      Sound Card: CODEC
      Comm : Com7 19,200/8/1/N
      PTT : CAT USB

      PC: Win7Pro/XP
      Sound : CODEC
      Ports : USB to URAT bridge installed

      Any ideas would be appreciated.

        I haven't used Easypal, but decided just now to install it to see how to
        configure it. I think I see the problem.
        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        Click on Setup > Setup c-s, soundcard, PTT
        Select: Use Comport (PTT CAT)
        Select Rig: Kenwood
        The default PTT ON string is "54583b", which means "TX;". This enables
        the audio on the MIC input, which isn't what you want.
        Try changing the string to "5458313b". This means "TX1;" This enables
        the audio on the USB port.
        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

        Please let us know if that fixes it. (Incidentally, the same fix is
        needed for MMSSTV).

          I am sure this will help others using USB CAT control.

          Thanks Ian.
