Digi_ned routes traffic based on a set of flexible and well defined rules.
Think of it as a powerful macro language. You will need to modify the
digi_ned rules to filter and route traffic in the manner that you want for
your situation. I can't tell you how to do it because only you know exactly
what you want it to do, but there are examples in the ini files and the
documentation provided. It will likely take some time and study to grasp how
all of it works, I still don't fully understand it myself. But the more you
work with it and experiment, the more sense it will make.
As for the iGate, you can set it up as per the examples in Henk's
documentation, but I found that it is much simpler to use aprsd in parallel
with Digi_ned. The two programs will happily share the same KISS devices and
seem to play nice together. Currently I am using Xastir in a similar matter
to handle iGate functionality on my digi.
