Looks like the experiment has been delayed due to a catastrophic
failure of 20 tons magnet delivered by CERN's competitor Fermilab.

      http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1626728.ece

"Coincidentally, Fermilab stands to gain most from delays at Cern.
Its researchers also operate a rival but less powerful particle
      accelerator, the Tevatron.

Fermilab staff are pushing the Tevatron to ever-higher energies hoping
that they might find the Higgs boson before the LHC switches on. An
LHC researcher said: "Ironically, this delay could be all they need."

Right now, Fermilab (Tevatron) is under heavy assault by evil Lyrans, Pleaidians, and insectile demons. They are taking it pretty seriously.

Maybe it's about time to do the same to CERN.

Last time we focussed on Tevvy, we were then able to use Tevvy to
smite the usual targets. Probably that will hold true here, too.

OK, gotta go make some adjustments to my hardware...

fires up.. but I think it will be handled and under control when it
happens. It's not going to smash this timeline like I think they have
been hoping, they aren't going to stop the Earth changes, they are
just going to get their asses handed to them as usual.

Let all of your allies in on what is going on, and have them research
it and speak with their allies and angels about it. The more focus we
                    have on it, the better.

We're getting that it's going to try to stop the ascension split (maybe Eath changes included [look for volcanic ash]), because those that make that move, will come back and put an end to the reps overwhelming technology and other dastardly ways.

                          CERN press releases:

19 September 2008: Large helium leak into the tunnel caused by
meltdown of some electrical connection. Expected down time: Two
                          months, minimum.

23 September 2008: The time necessary for the investigation and
repairs precludes a restart before CERN's obligatory winter
maintenance period, bringing the date for restart of the accelerator
complex to early spring 2009. LHC beams will then follow.

5 December 2008: The current schedule foresees the final magnet being
reinstalled by the end of March 2009, with the LHC being cold and
ready for powering tests by the end of June 2009.

9 February 2009: The new schedule foresees first beams in the LHC at
the end of September this year, with collisions following in late
                          October.

12 February 2009: Hollywood comes to CERN. CERN today hosted a visit
from actors Tom Hanks and Ayelet Zurer and director Ron Howard as they
unveiled exclusively some select footage from their new film
adaptation of Dan Brown's novel Angels & Demons....
