An Introduction to the Faery (Feri) Tradition
      taught by Gabriel Carrillo

Wings -- 44th and Lowell, Denver
      303-561-0387

Overview and Introduction: Saturday, December 7, 4-7 (self-defined
      sliding
      scale $20-$40)
Full Workshop: Sunday, December 8, 12-7 (self-defined sliding scale
      $70-$150)

The focuses of Faery (Feri) are magic, ecstasy, transformation, and the
shaman's quest into the Otherworld. The Faery Tradition is a journey, a
process, and a guidebook to that journey. The Faery Tradition affirms
      the
sacredness of all gender orientations, and is open to heterosexual,
      homosexual, and bisexual individuals.

These workshops will be experiential, hands-on sessions introducing
      basic
tools and concepts of the Faery Tradition and practical ways to work
      with
them as part of a spiritual practice.

Instruction and practice will include Deep Relaxation, Trance
      techniques,
the Blue Fire Meditation, and the Iron and Pearl Pentacles, and may
      include
more, subject to time constraints, including Faery Circle Casting.

The basic ethos and structure of the Faery Tradition will also be
      examined,
and there will be opportunity in the Sunday session to explore these
techniques and others further, as well as to connect for ongoing
      instruction
      in the Tradition.

Gabriel Carrillo is a respected elder in the Faery Tradition, having
      been
initiated by Faery's Grand Masters, Victor and Cora Anderson, in 1973.
      A
gifted teacher, he has devoted his life to the tradition, and founded
      the
BloodRose School of Faery training in 1983. Gabriel was one of the
      first
openly gay Witches in the SF Bay Area pagan community, and has fought
homophobia in paganism for 30 years. He makes his home in Northern
California and currently works with select students across the US and
      Canada
      and in Europe.

**The Faery Tradition is not associated with the Faery Wicca works of
      Kisma
      Stepanich.
