        Hi Joel and all,
The Delmarva Stargazers member count hovers around 90-100. This list was
set up with the idea that it would allow more interaction between our
members. So far the list has seen little use. If anyone has any questions,
comments, observing reports, announcements or any thing else to say let's
hear it. I will try to make better use of the list for club updates. As a
        start....

One of our new projects in the works is the Mid-Atlantic Mirror Grinding
Seminar taking place the first weekend of March. All the grinder slots have
been filled but we still have room for those that want to watch and
participate in the other activities planned. Visit our website for more
        info.
Another proposed project is the development of a club history archive.
The format (paper, CD, web based, etc.) as well as the content is still in
the formative stage. The issue will be brought up at the Feb. meeting to see
if there are members interested in pursuing this project. The slate is wide
open and your input is needed! So if you are a member that's been around
for a while and has some items (pictures, old name tags from past stargazes,
etc.) or stories you would like included, let us know. Or maybe you are new
to the club and have not yet found a way to get involved. This would be a
great way of seeing how the club evolved while you help document the history
for future members. So if you have any ideas on this maybe this list is the
        place to voice them.
And finally don't forget to mark your calendars for this years star
parties. Star Gaze VII April 19-22, and No Frills VI September 13-16

        Thanks
        Keith
