The next solar eclipse
- I'm sure you heard of this but i'll just remind anyone who hasn't heard
it yet. The next solar eclipse will happen this year in Europe on March
the 29th at 10-11 am.
Good luck seeing it if you are traveling to Europe!!!

Africa and Asia:
But much of Europe sees a partial eclipse, 'tis true.
CJ, the next total solar eclipse in the USA, will be in 2017:
Marylanders will have to drive to South Carolina, western North
Carolina, Tennessee or Kentucky to access the closest parts of the
path ot totality...worth the trip, though, I promise you. And 2017
will be here before you know it! ;^)
OTOH, in 2007 and 2008, there will be THREE Total Lunar eclipses at
least partly viewable from here! In exactly one year, 3/3/07, the
Mon will rise over Tuckahoe already fully eclipsed; on 8/28/07, the
Moon will set on us while still fully eclipsed. For the Total Lunar
Eclipse of 2/21/08, however, the entire event will be viewable from
here. Let's hope for clear skies!
