event this weekend. heres the info on it. who's in?
Cost: NONE, as park use is free and there is some decent room to play.
Inspection at 10:00 with fighting to begin at 11:00. Fighting is scheduled to end at 5:00 pm. Short awards/ bragging ceremony afterwards.
Format: Based on the old Wargy format, the field will be marked into territories. Some geographic features will be included on the field (ie. Sacramento River, San Joaquin River, American River, etc...)
      *Northern Cynagua<Rivenoak>
      *Central Cynagua<Golden Rivers>
      *Southern Cynagua<Fettburg>
      *Eastern Cynagua<Silver Desert>
Shires, Colleges, Cantons can ally within their geographic region, or arrange for other alliances as they can work out. Independent war units will work out their "base of operations" within a region also.
Each region must bring a banner and a trresure chest of some sort to be on the field. These must remain on the field for the entire duration of the fighting except for a declared lunch period (which cannot extend most of the day!) These items are worth war point at various time of the day to the group in physical possesion of them at the time. A point will also be given to groups who have claimed undefended territories by posting a minimum of two fighters during a point check. Undefended lands, with no occupying forces will yield no points.
Combat archery will be allowed for this event.
Standard armor and authorization requirements for wars will be enforced (ie. gauntlets for carrying things, current arrow blunts and abd's, blah, blah).
If you have any questions or suggestions for this event, please contact me.
