heavy and he was afraid that the group seeing him in such a state
would get even more discouraged. It was enough for them to lose
Gandalf to such a fate. He was not sure if he could take losing
anyone else to this journey. As he kept walking the images of
Gandalf's death swamped his mind. He did not even notice if the
group knew he was missing or not.
