Am I late? Am I late??Oh, whew; I think there's still enough time.So here we are on the cusp of another Sabbat already, which means another chance at giveaway fun. :) Here's the link to the photo of the Mabon Kore I will be giving away. To have a chance at winning her, just email me (replying to this message is fine) with your full name and I will put you in the bowl (not literally, heh). The deadline for this giveaway is the next New Moon, September 11th.I am actually ahead for ONCE (lol!) and have some other Autumnal offerings for you. A Goddess of the Harvest, Ops, and a Goddess for the Day of the Dead, Mictecacihuatl (please don't call me and ask for the correct pronunciation. . .my Aztec isn't what it used to be, heehee), as well as an early Samhain Kore! EARLY!! Can you imagine?? (All of these links are on the homepage, bottom left, for convenience.) I am hoping to get some Autumnal altar cloths up in the shop soon, but I have two baskets of orders to finish first, so we'll see how it goes.A huge thank you goes out to Lorais for requesting Ops and Mictecacihuatl; your custom requests were so inspiring to me! If you don't want to see them early, don't peek! :)I'm sure most of you have heard the news of Shekhinah Mountainwater's passing, and I would like to honor the death of a teacher and priestess I was fortunate to have known by offering my Shekhinah doll at 15% off from now until Samhain. May her memory be forever blessed.I'm sure I am forgetting something. . .oh, a reminder that Winter Holiday orders must be in by October 31st to give me time to finish them. Thank you!
Blessings and good luck in the drawing, my friends!

Playful and Spiritually-Inspired Dolls & Embroidered Gifts
- Hello, everyone!First of all, I want to thank you all for the generous thoughts, prayers, reiki, and general good mojo for Emrys' hospital visit. It all seemed to have worked wonders; there's hardly any other way to account for the amazing turnaround we experienced. The original plan for him was aggressive and dangerous, and had us so stressed out that my poor husband got shingles! By our second day in the hospital though, the team of physicians had changed their strategy to a slow, cautious one. We were there for a week, and Emrys had a countless number of tests (all inconclusive thus far), but all-in-all the week-long stay was fairly boring (a good thing, in my mind!) Emrys has about nine follow-up appointments with other specialists over the next two months, and we continue to watch him carefully. I doubt we will ever have a true diagnosis, other than the current guess of epilepsy, which is somewhat frustrating since all that means is that no one knows why he has seizures. A guess within a guess! I am sure now that he is destined to remain a mystery. :)The last two months have been an emotional roller coaster, mainly with me on the bottom of the track, so I am happy to be able to say that I feel myself rising up back into my normal, more cheerful self. Nothing prepares a peron for the potential stress children can cause, lol! (mainly because nothing can prepare you for the depths of love you feel for another person!)Long story short, I am more than happy to say goodbye to the summer of 2010. Yay for Autumn!! I say it every year, but this year I really mean it. ;)The Mabon Giveaway is on now; please email me back by Wednesday the 15th for a chance to win. There's a photo of the little pocket doll I'm giving away here. There is also a handful of Autumn dolls in the Etsy shop, all of which would look wonderful on your Autumn altarspaces. I am whittling away at the waiting orders (I sent out six packages last week, yay!), but did need to make some time for extra Etsy things, since I feel a personal need to try to help out with the family budget now that we have all these extra medical expenses. I hope I can find some time for some new creations in the coming months, too; mainly I want to get those aprons and quilts going!! Please tell me I'm not the only one with large stacks of unfinished art projects all over her house. :)Sending much love and prosperity during this Harvest season,
- Thanks to everyone who helped make the sale a success! Storenvy seemed to have a bit of trouble with the crazy dose of traffic (always fun to crash websites! haha), so I don't know...I may email them and see what they think contributed to the trouble. Some people were upset at dolls being taken from their carts before being able to check out, but that happens on Etsy, too, and is probably an issue with most shopping cart venues. About half of the reviews have been "Go back to Etsy" and about half have been "Storenvy was fine, no trouble," so if you want to weigh in, please do!Just a few dolls left: http://dancinggoddessdolls.storenvy.com/Sometimes it's surprising who gets left behind, waiting for the right person! I thought for sure Morrigan would be snapped up, but there she is, waiting patiently with her sword. ;) And the little Inanna is so sweet, perfect for this time of year as we head into the Darkness. The Giveaway!Mama Allpa, Incan Goddess of the HarvestI am Mama Allpa, Incan Earth Goddess of the Harvest. When you see modern photographs of the sacred city of Machu Piccu, you have a glimpse of the beautiful but harsh land I made fertile. The lesson I give you is that it is possible to thrive, even if the odds seem against you. It may require a bit of extra work (my people trudged up that great mountain to live in the midst of such beauty!), but you can prevail. Her photo is attached; email an entry (kelli at dancinggoddessdolls.com or reply to this email) by Full Moon on September 19th (Rhanna's 17th birthday!) for a chance to win!A prosperous Harvest to you all!
