Imbolc Giveaway / Hearts for Haiti
- Hello from the snowy woods, everyone!Imbolc is just around the corner, bringing with it the hope and promise of Springtime. Rhanna and I were talking this morning about how important this must have been to our foremothers, who were so dependent upon the land and her cycles.Hope is an especially important feeling to be passing around these days, and Etsy artisans are doing their best to make a difference. There's a new shop called Hearts for Haiti, and hundreds of Etsy sellers have donated artwork to help support Doctors Without Borders. I have donated two pocket Aphrodite dolls (in different color schemes), pink and red, so check them out. Perfect for Valentine's Day, your purchase there will also be going towards charity. My own Etsy shop was re-stocked yesterday, but both Imbolc Kores flew off the shelf almost immediately! There's a new Goddess of Love named Astghik there (one left. . .she's gorgeous, so it's not surprising that she is also being snapped up), and a handful of other dolls, including some Brigid dolls, of course, for her upcoming feast day.Of course I'm also giving away a doll for the Imbolc Giveaway! She's a little pocket Kore with two bunnies and a candle - super cute. Details are on the page. :)We're definitely not moving to Houston (whew!), but our work situation is temporary, so the soap opera continues. :)I'm taking orders again, and will post timelines and updates on the Ordering page of my main website. Currently I am filling the February basket, and looking at a 4-6 week delivery schedule. I've already finished a whole basket of custom dolls, some of which are so beautiful that I'm sure you will see them on the site soon!
