There will be enough people, so I will get a keg of something domestic and we will order Pizza later when we get a head count. There will be a donations jar for pizza and beer. If you want to bring something harder that's fine.

      Hello Everyone,

Just a reminder that I am still going to host a get together on August 22nd. It will begin around 2PM (Flexible) and continue until we are finished within reason. I only have digital sources at this time, but I’m open to setting up for records if anyone is interested in bringing their phono pre and turntable.

Most of my replies at this time are from the DIY natured crowd. I’d like to extend this invitation to anyone who would like to bring commercial gear for a demo/listen. We all like to hear different gear.

Another trend I have noticed from the past few gatherings is an interest in purchases and trades. I’d also like to open this event up to anyone interested in buying/selling/ or trading gear. Look at it this way. You can comfortably demo before you buy.

Items that will be there thus far include:

      Several LM3886 amplifiers

Around 3-4 pairs of DIY speaker efforts

Several tube amplifiers including a pair of 180-200w DIY monoblocks

      DIY Battery powered 6DJ8 preamplifier

      SS DIY preamplifier

Overall, I just want to have a nice gathering where we can discuss and enjoy a few systems, but would like to open the floor and try to expand the sociability of these events by associating them with other options such as trades and sales.

      Allen, TX 75002

      Hope to see you there!!

Please RSVP and let me know if you are coming and what gear you plan to bring.

      Paul Stewart

P.S. This event is BYOB, and there will be a contributions jar for pizza.
