          My issue isn't really the size, but the speed at which it can open a pdf file.  If the speed hasn't improved, I would agree that this would not be an appropriate solution for us.

      No device with a 6" screen is going to be good for reading A4/Letter
      sized documents. That's the "fault" of the PDF format, not the device;
      PDF was never intended to be an eBook format and it makes a truly
      awful format for eBooks.

      The CyBook is intended to be a fiction reader - it's perfect for that.
      Stick with a notebook/tablet PC for PDFs - it's a far better choice.
