Reminder: Kim Roberts & Dan Vera at Arts Club on Tuesday!
Tuesday, April 3, 2012. The Washington Friends of Walt Whitman's own Kim Roberts and Dan Vera discuss the lives and homes of the city's past literati in a narrated tour of Kim & Dan's new website "DC Writers' Homes" (www.dcwriters.org) in a "literary evening" sponsored by the Arts Club of Washington. The encyclopedic website maps the former residences of novelists, poets, playwrights, and memoirists, and includes such luminaries as William Douglas O'Connor (Walt's champion), Paul Laurence Dunbar, Zora Neale Hurston, Sinclair Lewis, Katherine Anne Porter, and Henry Adams. Serendipitously, Adams once lived in the mansion that now houses the Arts Club where the talk occurs. 7 pm. Arts Club of Washington, 2017 I Street, NW. Free and Open to the Public. 202-331-7282, ext. 16. www.artsclubofwashington.org.

She is the editor of the anthology Full Moon on K Street: Poems About Washington, DC (Plan B Press, 2010), and the online literary journal Beltway Poetry Quarterly.
