John, You re better off replacing the mainspring with .010 steel stock - or if you can stainless steel stock. If the key is non-Vibroplex (Bunnell or Lionel)

          John,

You're better off replacing the mainspring with .010 steel stock - or
if you can stainless steel stock. If the key is non-Vibroplex
(Bunnell or Lionel) sometimes the pendulum didn't have markings on the
side. This is the most difficult part to get of the Lightning
Bug/Champion/Zephyr type of keys. If you do manage to find one,
bravo! But I would fix the one you have - one reason is that if you
get a "spare" - it might have been discarded because it was a poor
sending main spring. You're better off fixing the mainspring.

I am hoping someone has a complete main arm, or perhaps a junk key with
            a complete main arm.
