The seller of both the bug and straight key buys keys on eBay under a
different names, paints and wirebrushes them and then resells them using the
      azroadrunners name.

Sometimes the keys he sells are rare, and the people who collect keys have
been upset at the damage caused by wire brushing and repainting.

But it seems "shiney keys" sell best.

After receiving the bug and looking it over, it appears that
somebody took it apart and used a can of black spray paint on the
base. I didn't find any overspray on the chrome pieces, but I only
spent 5 seconds or so looking.

Yep, the Bunnell straight key I just got has quite a bit of
        the "Bunnell" worn down smooth.
