The problem, Ci, is that Earl relayed the message - the headers reveal John Barrow s email address as barrowsjohn@yahoo.com - hello to John and welcome aboard.

Hi... My name is John Barrows, Helena, Montana, KD7WYW. Not an active ham but very interested in telegraph keys, including "bugs". I am a frequent demonstrator for land line telegraph, and include elements of early radio telegraph when appropriate. I have a small collection of bugs and keys. I have only had a radio license a few years, but began work on the NOrthern Pacific Ry in 1963 as a telegrapher in American Morse and worked for a number of years. Looking forward to follow the threads on keys, etc. John Barrows, KD7WYW American Morse Sine - "BA" ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better pen pal. John, I live in Helena, too. I would love to get together with you
and learn from you. I have been a ham for about three and one-half
years and love CW. I will try to call you later on today and see if
we can get together. My number is 442-0345, and my address is 5407
Kerr Drive (in the valley near Forestvale Cemetary between Mill road
and Forestvale). I have five bugs and have been playing with them
about a year now.I am also a member of the Capital City Amateur Radio
Club. There are only two or three of us who do CW, and only one other
bug operator (Dick Beaton, N7RB). He was licensed in 1934 and was an
operator for Northwest Airlines in the thirties. I hope to hear from
        you and get together...73, Ci
