      Hi, All -

This is a sneak peek at a new toy - the fully-automatic version
of the RotoBug, which I am calling the RotoTwin. Right now it is
unwired, but preliminary bench tests went well. I may be able to get
it on the air tonight. Pictures are posted in the Yahoo photo section.

Have been enjoying all of the recent posts - I'm mostly a lurker.

Can you give us a ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude, cost$) for either the
single or double Rotobug, plus or minus $200?

Do you have a manual for your Double Rotobug and will you post some of
your manuals here for the CW Bugs Group? I always enjoy reading about
your work and luv the photos.

Do you have a Table number for where you will be setup at Dayton?

            Hi, Chuck -

Glad to have you aboard - now you know what I've been up to. I don't have a way of posting the RotoBug manual, but I will send you a copy (attached PDF). I don't really have a good handle on the price yet. As for the RotoTwin, I am not yet convinced whether the complexity of a fully-automatic instrument is warranted in terms of the outcome; the gains in convenience are not all that great, the learning curve is steeper, and you have a bit less control over the "personality" of your sending. So we shall see.

I won't have a table at Dayton per se, but I will be at the QRP ARCI show-and-tell night (Friday, in the Fairborn Holiday Inn) with some things to let folks take a look at. Anyone is welcome to drop by.

My retirement is at the end of the summer, and I hope to have more time for things radio and telegraphic.

If it's a PDF, can't it be put up in the FILES section of this group?

I would like to see it, too.
