Sounds like a good idea. The Vibroplex cases aren t all that expensive for what you get. It seems people are always complaining about the prices of keys!

Sounds like a good idea. The Vibroplex cases aren't all that expensive for what you get. It seems people are always complaining about the prices of keys! Why do they think they should cost $10? It amazes me - they go and spend $250 on a microphonium - and what does that do? It makes noises. Who wants a radio that talks? Mine squeeks and that's ok - but I'm still working on it to sound like the roar of spark.

Did you bid on that beautiful Marconi 365 on eBay I sent you an email on? It went cheaply I see.

      David,
I've been thinking/planning to build cases for my different size bugs. It
seems I'm always carting them from one shack to the other, using the trunion as
a carrying handle. Its only a matter of time....... Not having an old case
to go by, I guess I'll have to experiment with the inside configuration. I'd
like the thing to be "drop proof" as much as possible, meaning I'll have to
have a detent for the paddle end of the base as well as immobilize the end of
the pendulum and have minimum tolerance for the trunion and damper on the top.
It will probably take a while to get it figured out, but once I have it, I
might make a few. Of course, its got to have a nice soft interior to prevent
      scratching my "kids".
Hoped to hear you on HSG, but no joy.
