Try Anderson PowerPoles, in a color other than red and
      black. Take a look at
      http://www.powerwerx.com/category.asp?CtgID=3578 . You could use a
regular 1/4" plug with about 6" of cord on it, then the
PowerPoles. That way, the PowerPoles could be hidden behind your
      rig, if you wanted.

I don't know why, but I keep thinking Vibroplex still sells
them. However, a quick search of the web site comes up empty.

Sometimes you see them on eBay.

No, I have a cabinet with glass door and shelving and find that all
that wire (a set for each bug) bunched up next to the

I put a picture of what I'm currently using in the photo section.

Don't like to unscrew and screw done a lugs every time I change keys.

I went to the Socorro hamfest today, and had a great
time. While there, I saw a bug set up like this, with a short piece
of perfboard and a minijack. I have to say, once I saw it, this is
the SLICKEST way of doing what you want that I can imagine. I
suggest you forget PowerPoles and anything else and go with the
              mini-jack on a PCB.

Earl thanks for sharing the picture. Yes.. that's the ticket, hi.

I have some Radio Shack pc boards and sure will hack at it to make
                    something similar.

Oh.. on another note, no problem opening up to other bugs.

I'm sure many here have bugs other than Vibroplex.

N1EA.. thanks for the diagram, it gave me another idea, no need to
                    drill holes

for the post as I was thinking. Now just make a large notch on the
                    edge of the pc board

so that I can move to my other bugs which don't have the same
                    distances between posts.

Good luck on that double lever..hi.

                    take care all
