Re: [cw_bugs] Needed: electronic keyer for single-paddle operation (non-iambic)
- Thanks to all those who helped me to understand that an electronic keyer is suitable for both iambic and single-paddle operation.
It's interesting to note that I had earlier spoken on the 'phone with the sales representatives of three major mail-order vendors of amateur equipment and none seemed to be aware that single-paddle operation did not require anything other than the typical electronic keyer! So much for trusting that an informed salesperson will be there at the other end of the 'phone-line. Please be aware that MFJ was unlike these three as a technical rep. did explain in detail what several on this group were trying to tell me ---- the failure to understand was my own fault.

- K1EL at http://k1el.com also offers well regarded kits. (Sorry if this has
already mentioned and missed by me in this thread!)
