      Earl and the Group,

I tried one of my Nascar model cases on my bugs and they work great.
I looked online for some suppliers and got these URL's:

      http://store.casesforcollectibles.com/9xmirbac18.html
      http://www.hobbylinc.com/prods/skg_tes.htm
      http://commerce.idmi.net/ecommerce/catalog_detail.asp?
      CID=123&CI=405&PI=7832

My case has a mirror on the back and the key looks really good in
that one. A little more than $10 but nice.

Thanks for thinking about that, it's a good idea.

      73,

      Don, NN8B

nice, and costs (I beleive) less than $10. Maybe the J-36 would like
      it!

Wow, I wouldn't have thought of that in a million
years! But it sounds like a nice thing to do, so I guess I'll head
down to Hobby Lobby in a few and see what I can find.

        Thanks,

So I went down to Hobby Lobby and took a look at what they
had. In the end, I decided the Lionel just doesn't need a case. Here's why --

This particular Lionel bug is NOT pristine, has NOT been
restored, indeed it looks like a tool and not a showpiece. I finally
decided that putting it in a display case would be akin to putting a
ball peen hammer in a display case. Better to just treat it as a
          tool and USE it! :-)

If I ever get the gumption to refinish it and make it look
marvelous, I just might spring for a case -- but not right now, it
would just be a little out of character.
