Group Description

Streamlined steam locomotives are the focus this Group, slanted toward the toy train end. ALL manufacturers of streamlined steam locomotives, in windup/ electric/live-steam toy/model form, and "Prototype." Until 2008, Marx CVs were THE focus.

Louis Marx & Company made many styles of O Gauge Electric Trains. Their "Commodore Vanderbilt" (CV) is a classic "Art Deco" design. Made 1935-1950, a span of more years than the other Marx tin (steam) locomotives.

(Jack Priller co-owned until his death in May, 2015.)
