      Job Title: Online Content Editor
      Location: Round Rock, TX

      Pay-rate: $25.00/hr
      Client: Dell

      The position is responsible for creating and maintaining proposal-ready content for the Proposal Knowledgebase and associated proposal automation tools. An essential requirement is to ensure that all content is well structured, persuasive and customer-oriented, and that it clearly articulates key messaging and benefits. Key responsibilities are content development and maintenance – develop, manage and maintain persuasive proposal-ready content to cover Dell products, services, solutions and corporate material. Interaction with Subject Matter Experts – build a strong network of Subject Matter Experts across the Dell organization. Run workshops with Subject Matter Experts to identify key issues, topics, messages, gaps. Source document/information analysis – identify customer-ready collateral that exists (typically datasheets, statements of work, training decks for Sales). Analyze the collateral to understand the product or offering. Proposal-ready content creation – structure and draft a proposal-ready response, combining essential content from all of the above in plain language. Identify and highlight gaps. Review draft with Subject Matter Experts to fill gaps and verify the content and messaging.

      Desired skills: Excellent writing skills. Previous exposure to bids and proposals, and in particular conversant with current proposal best practice methodologies. Previous experience of writing generic content for proposal automation systems. Document and information analysis skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Office – specifically MS Word. Good understanding of technical applications (capability to learn SANT library management tasks). Ability to work with virtual teams.
