Preferred Qualifications: High quality publication(s) in fiction. Evidence of, or potential for, continued success as publishing fiction writer. Evidence of effectiveness in teaching graduate and undergraduate creative writing. Evidence of ability to work with graduate students individually in directing M.F.A. theses. Evidence of ability to teach courses other than creative writing courses. Nationally recognized prizes for published work.
