I appreciate that Paul needs help/ deputy..and am sure a good person will volunteer..Alas, I can not volunteer, as I am soon moving to live in Enfield (North London). So yes, a new volunteer as Deputy is really needed.One suggestion..if all else fails...as a last resort...and only if Paul is willing...would be to switch the moot to another day of the week (ie not a monday) when Paul may be free from university lecturing responsibilities.. (as I said,, a last resort to save the moot, if no one else comes as Deputy..and it still has to depend on Paul.. In such a case, rather than have no Croydon moot, it's better to have it..albeit on another day..to be decided by Paul?? Dear Friends, Come join with me for an evenings pagan chat and drink at the Skylark, this Monday at 8pm. As ever, if you need directions, please email me or check the home page of the website. This Moot used to be quite easy to run as I had a deputy to look after things when I was away. Since Heather moved away I have found it increasingly difficult to look after everything myself, I am looking for some support from members in the form of a deputy. This is going to be absolutely necessary after the New Year. As many of you know, I lecture adults in the evenings and I had an interview this week where I was offered more work next year. Unfortunately this will involve me working Monday nights. So, unless somebody steps forward prety quickly I shall be unable to run the Moot and will cancel it. If you are interested either email me or come along on Monday and have a chat. There is little to actually do, but I do need someone reliable to look after things when I cannot be there, so if this sounds like you please do step up Bright Blessings Paul
